Connect with Your City Open House Featuring Master Planning Engagement

You and your family are invited to "Connect with Your City!" on November 26, 2025, at Echo '67 Community Centre.

Join us for the third annual Connect with Your City Open House to explore your city services, meet dedicated staff behind the important projects and initiatives that build your community, and gain a deeper understanding of the vital role each department plays in making Port Alberni a better place to live. 

There will be a wide range of activities including Master Planning engagement (4:30 - 6 p.m.), interactive displays, snacks, prize giveaways, and more! We also have childminding on site, provided by our wonderful Parks, Recreation and Culture staff, to keep your kiddies entertained while you connect on what matters most.

To participate in the City's Master Planning engagement session, featuring the Parks, Recreation, and Culture Master Plan (PRCMP) and Transportation Master Plan (TMP), register in advance. Click here to secure your spot now. Space is limited!

Let's Connect: Master Plans Open House

The City of Port Alberni is embarking on the development of a Transportation Master Plan (TMP), setting a long-term vision for how people will get around the city safely, sustainably, and efficiently.


The TMP will build upon the upcoming 2025 Official Community Plan (OCP) and previous planning efforts, by reviewing, revising, updating, and integrating City-identified transportation projects to create a comprehensive roadmap for maintaining, enhancing, and expanding Port Alberni's transportation infrastructure


Join us for the first in a series of interactive public events to provide feedback and learn more about the TMP and other key City initiatives.
